What he built
Hernan connected Claude to Homeworks and gave it his scheduling rules.
Claude reviews the following week and assigns work across his two crews. It then sends Hernan a report in Slack.
The report includes:
Stops for each crew
Budgeted hours
Possible overtime
Properties outside the normal route
Jobs that still need to be assigned
It also creates a clear handoff if someone else needs to review the schedule.
The result
Hernan says the work flow saves him about 30 to 60 minutes each Friday.
He is still improving the prompt and reviewing parts of the output. The goal is not to remove judgment. It is to give him a useful starting point and reduce repeated work.
