Homeworks API
A no-pay workflow that tells crews when to stop service
Enzo built a custom workflow that marks upcoming jobs when a customer is more than 15 days past due. His crews can act without calling the office or waiting for instructions.

The process Enzo needed
Enzo has bee n in business for more than 20 years. He knows how he wants his schedule to work.
When a customer is more than 15 days past due, Enzo stops recurring service until the account is paid.
His crews need to see that information before they arrive at the property.
What he built
Enzo used the Homeworks API to build his no-pay process. Each night, the workflow checks for overdue accounts. When an account reaches the limit, it adds “No Pay” to the title of the customer’s upcoming work orders. That message appears where crews can easily see it in the field. When the customer pays, the workflow removes the label automatically.
The result
One of Enzo's crews saw the no-pay label and skipped the job.
Enzo did not need to call the crew. The crew did not need to stop and ask the office what to do.
The system gave them the answer.
Why Connect mattered
Enzo had looked at Homeworks for about two years, but his scheduling process had kept him from moving.
Homeworks Connect gave him a way to keep an important part of that process while using Homeworks as his main system.
